Trinity Health Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program – Livingston Campus

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a higher level of care than traditional outpatient therapy while still allowing patients to live at home and maintain daily responsibilities. IOP provides group,individual and family therapy, to help manage symptoms and improve overall functioning. Services are offered to those ages 12-17, 3 hours a day, 3 days per week. Suitable for individuals who can manage daily activities but need more intensive support for their mental health. 

Program Goals IOP allows individuals to practice skills in real-life situations, such as: 

• Developing coping mechanisms
• Improving communication skills
• Enhancing self-esteem and self-confidence
• Addressing underlying issues contributing to mental health challenges
• Facilitating transition from a higher level of care (like inpatient) back to community life
